Deb Yale

Professional Experience

A fourth generation resident of Maine, Debrah was raised in Scarborough. Her real estate journey began in the 80's, following an education in Recreation Management, and a successful career in the food service industry as a senior territory manager for Hunt-Wesson/Congra Foods. In 2002, she received her real estate license and found that her personal experience as an owner, landlord, and renovator of antique properties uniquely positioned her to identify with both buyers' and sellers' concerns. She leverages her local knowledge to educate her clients in areas including regional insurance companies, certified property inspectors qualified mortgage lender and local code issues.

Debrah works with both buyers and sellers in primarily residential brokerage. The area she services includes Greater Portland and Boothbay Harbour. During her 36 year sales career, Debrah has earned national and regional awards for her salesmanship closing abilities. She is also an Accredited Buyers’ Representative (ABR). She is a past board member of the Maine Association of Realtors® Foundation and a current member and past President of the Portland Board of Realtors. She serves on the states Grievances committee.

Debrah currently resides in Portland and Boothbay Harbour. She finds Maine to be rough around the edges, and loves it for that exact quality. She appreciates that Maine has something to offer everyone and that throughout the seasons; people from all over the world come to live and play in Maine. Debrah has always been actively involved in her community. She is a member of the Munjoy Hill Association, Boothbay Harbor Country Club, The Portland Club and the Boothbay Harbour Yacht Club. She is also a past member of the American Culinary Federation, and is involved in Rippleffect serving on its board for 8 years. When she is not working, you’ll find Debrah playing golf, boating, exploring island hikes, listening to music, reading and dabbling in her hobby of writing children’s books.
